It was great to visit my local branch of Nationwide Building Society in Kingswinford recently. Nationwide have promised to keep their existing branches open until at least the start of 2030 - the kind of guarantee our high streets need.
Branch Manager Sophie and Katrina from Nationwide spoke to me about the various community initiative that they have set up in Kingswinford and South Staffordshire including providing grants, committing staff to volunteer at local community initiatives and provide dedicated support sessions for those affected by dementia.
It always good to see banks and building societies like Nationwide explore options to invest in and give back to their communities.
