It was great to be able to dedicate a full day to volunteering in the A&E department at Russells Hall today.
Whether it was offering a helping hand or assisting with basic tasks, I was pleased to support the incredible work being done on the front line of our healthcare system.
Our NHS staff and volunteers do an exceptional job under often challenging circumstances, and seeing their professionalism and compassion up close was inspiring. I’d like to thank everyone at Russells Hall for the warm welcome and for allowing me to be part of their day.
As Volunteers Week draws to a close, I’m looking forward to getting back out into the constituency for the final day and continuing to shine a spotlight on the fantastic individuals and organisations who give their time to help others in Kingswinford & South Staffordshire.
