It was fantastic to join residents and volunteers in Wall Heath this morning as part of the Day of Action for Nature.
The event brought together members of the community for a shared celebration of our local environment, highlighting both the beauty of the area and the importance of protecting our local green belt for future generations. A big thank you goes to the Wall Heath Green Belt Group, the Community Planning Alliance, and Summerhill School for organising such a positive and well-supported initiative.
The community walk was a great opportunity for people of all ages to come together and enjoy the outdoors. It was especially encouraging to see so many residents turning out to show their support for protecting our countryside from the threat of development.
I look forward to continuing to support efforts like this that bring people together and champion the importance of our local Green Belt.
