Mike Wood MP today joined Parliamentary colleagues from across the aisle to commemorate the life and legacy of Jo Cox MP, who was murdered ten years ago today.
The MP for Kingswinford and South Staffordshire today wore a white rose in The House of Commons at the request of Ms Cox's family.
Commenting via his social media page, Mike Wood MP said:
"You may have noticed MPs wearing white roses in Parliament today. The white rose is a symbol of remembrance for Jo Cox MP, our colleague and friend, who was tragically murdered ten years ago today."
"Today we remember Jo, her dedication to public service, and her belief that we have far more in common than that which divides us"
