Mike Wood MP has highlighted the importance of local fish and chip shops to communities across Kingswinford and Staffordshire following a visit to Codsall Fish Bar on National Fish and Chip Day.
Taking place on the first Friday in June since it was launched in 2015, National Fish and Chip Day is an annual celebration that honours one of the country’s most iconic and long-standing dishes: fish and chips.
Mike Wood MP said:
"There's so many great chippies across Kingswinford & Staffordshire, it was hard to choose just one to sample.
Andreas told me how chip shops aren't immune to the challenges facing hospitality at the moment, which is why I'm continuing to champion our hospitality industry, including our chippies, down in Westminster."
