It was a real pleasure to attend the Pattingham Summer Fete last weekend – a truly perfect village event that brought the whole community together. From delicious food stalls to family-friendly activities and local entertainment, the fete was a great celebration of everything that makes village life so special.
We are incredibly fortunate here in South Staffordshire to have such a packed calendar of summer events – from traditional carnivals to vibrant village fetes like this one. These gatherings are more than just fun days out; they’re a powerful reminder of the strength, spirit, and pride we all share in our local communities.
It was fantastic to see so many residents, families, and local groups getting involved and supporting one another. A huge well done and thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success.
