Mike Wood MP will hold his annual Apprenticeship Fair this Friday 28th March, from 3pm until 5pm at the Kingswinford Community Centre.
Now in its ninth year, the MP for Kingswinford and South Staffordshire has hosted the annual event since first being elected in 2015. Entry to the Apprenticeship Fair is free and open to everyone, with school leavers and those wishing to change career paths particularly encouraged to attend.
There are hundreds of current and upcoming opportunities available for prospective apprentices, with an exciting range of local and national employers set to be present at the highly anticipated event.
Mike Wood MP said: “Employability remains one of my top priorities for Kingswinford and South Staffordshire.
I’m really looking forward to welcoming employers and training providers from a diverse range of sectors to Kingswinford on Friday, including: West Midlands Police; South Staffordshire District Council; The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust; The Royal Navy; Nationwide Building Society, Barclays, Lloyds Bank; And more…
I recognise that everyone’s journey into the workplace is different, and we must ensure that young people continue to be given high-quality apprenticeship opportunities so that they can take their first steps into the world of work.
That’s why I put on this event for organisations and future apprentices – I’m dedicated to connecting high quality employers with high-quality candidates, whatever their chosen career path.
I will continue to champion employability for young people from across Kingswinford & South Staffordshire.”
